Chatfuel alternatives
What are the best Chatfuel alternatives?
Chatfuel comes from the flow era: menus, buttons and branches that carry a customer from one screen to the next. Today it publishes AI agents, campaigns, WhatsApp meeting booking and coexistence between the app and the API on the same number, and for an online store that already built its menus that heritage still works.
The comparison starts when the menu runs out: a customer asks about a size that is not in the tree, wants the shipping cost to their postal code, or asks for an invoice. At that point the question is no longer how many branches the flow has, but whether the platform can quote from your real catalog and close. Eva is our product, so this page states the criteria, the order and where Chatfuel still wins.

Chatfuel vs Eva in one minute
What changes when the question falls outside the menu
Chatfuel lets you build the flow and gives you a monthly AI credit with no published figure. Eva answers with your catalog in front of her.

| AI that answers on its own | Yes, until the plan's reasonable use runs out | Included in every plan |

Message us on WhatsAppWhy people look for an alternative to Chatfuel
The first reason is that there are two rate cards and they do not reconcile. The live page sells Business and Agency with monthly AI credit in dollars, while the help center still documents Fuely plans metered by active contacts: Fuely Super 150 at $39 USD per month with 150 active contacts, and Fuely Max 150 at USD 59. We found no public confirmation of a migration or an equivalence between the two tables. Before comparing anything, confirm which one applies to your account.
The second is that the headline price has an expiry date. Business is advertised at $18 USD monthly equivalent billed yearly, which is $216 USD for the year paid up front, next to a struck-through reference of 69 dollars; the promotion runs until September 30 and the renewal price is not confirmed. Month to month, the public component that feeds its own page returns USD 20. Agency S is $90 USD monthly equivalent billed yearly, $1,080 USD for the year, or $100 USD month to month.
The third is that the AI meter carries no number. Business includes 20 dollars of monthly AI credit and Agency S includes 100 dollars. Its limits page says active contacts and messages are uncapped, but that AI replies, classification and automations consume reasonable use depending on context. When that runs out, the assistant pauses until the reset, and you can either renew early or ask support to use your own OpenAI key. No marginal rate is published: past the limits, the page refers you to sales.
The fourth is the distance between a flow and a sale. Chatfuel publishes lead qualification, campaigns and WhatsApp booking, and lists integrations with Google Sheets, Zapier, Stripe and its API. That organizes the path, but its Shopify guide describes sharing catalogs and answering on WhatsApp without proving variant-level sync, inventory or two-way orders, and having Stripe on an integration list does not prove native in-chat payment or Mexican coverage. For a store, that difference is the order.
The fifth is the invoice and what it does not publish. The Spanish page shows dollars and the help center denominates its prices in United States dollars; we verified no Meta rate for Mexico, local currency, VAT or CFDI. It also publishes neither how many WhatsApp numbers or Instagram accounts each plan includes nor a per-seat price: three companies on Agency is not three numbers. The annual plan is paid up front, and cancelling keeps access until the cycle ends.
Criteria
- It publishes one current price table, with currency, billing unit and what happens at the limit.
- It states which part of the AI is included and what the overage costs, not only that AI exists.
- It solves a store's job inside the chat: live catalog, stock, shipping and payment, not just a menu tree.
- It can be bought from Mexico today; where no public evidence covers peso billing or CFDI, the gap is stated rather than filled in.
- Every third-party price has a public source and verification date; Eva figures come from its pricing catalog.
Eva is our product and appears on this list, so the list is not neutral by nature; that is why every row links the public page it came from. Chatfuel prices and limits were verified on 16 September 2026 on its Spanish pricing page, the public component that feeds it, its help center and its limits page; Whaticket the same day; Wati on 24 August; and ManyChat and Aurora Inbox on 28 July. Every figure is printed in the vendor's published currency without conversion. We publish Chatfuel's two tables separately because its own material does not reconcile them, and we make no claim about CFDI or how many numbers each plan includes, because it verifies neither.
Five real alternatives
1. Eva
Best for: Anyone who needs Eva's five foundations: Eva does the work, not just the talking: She quotes from your real catalog, books, takes payment, invoices and follows up for months — inside the same conversation. A built-in CRM where everything organizes itself: Every prospect is captured, classified and managed automatically, and Eva works with your team: handoff to a person with the full history. Every channel included: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, calls, email and your website — including Instagram comments and TikTok ad comments. AI is already in the price: No separate accounts and no extra AI charges: each agent reply uses one plan credit, and that is it. Public pricing: Plans, add-ons and setup published, with a verification date on every figure on this page. From $191 USD per month on an annual plan ($229 USD month to month).
Tradeoff: Eva is not a flow builder: you will not drag boxes or draw branches, because the agent decides what to answer with your catalog and your rules in front of it. If your team wants to control every button on every screen, that is a real change of mindset. Essential includes 5,000 credits and 5 users; a 1,000-credit top-up costs $49 USD and each extra user is $17 USD per month. Setup is purchased separately from $579 USD, half price on an annual plan. There is no public self-serve signup or free trial today, and Eva Pay settles by SPEI bank transfer rather than card.
Source2. ManyChat
Best for: Anyone staying with Chatfuel mainly for the Instagram automations. ManyChat is the reference for that job: comment to direct message, story replies, campaign templates, and a free plan with 25 monthly active contacts, one user and up to two channels chosen from Instagram, TikTok, Messenger and Telegram.
Tradeoff: WhatsApp is not on the free plan or on Essential at $17 USD per month: it starts on Pro at $39 USD per month with 2,500 active contacts, three users and up to three connected channels. WhatsApp template messages are paid separately per delivered message from a wallet balance. Its AI page still describes a $29 USD monthly Pro add-on while the newer plan cards say AI is included, so confirm that at checkout. It bills in dollars and publishes no Mexican entity or CFDI.
Source3. Wati
Best for: A store that already lives on WhatsApp and wants published Mexican peso pricing: a shared inbox, broadcasts, automation and AI agents included in its Mexico plans, with a meter that excludes broadcast-only recipients.
Tradeoff: Growth is $1,049 MXN per month with 500 monthly active contacts and Pro is $2,099 MXN with 1,000; at the limit, broadcasts continue but new interactions that consume active contacts pause. WhatsApp templates are billed separately per delivered message. Its terms name a Hong Kong entity and we found no public statement about Mexican CFDI.
Source4. Aurora Inbox
Best for: A Mexico-based team that prefers paying in pesos with the tax document settled: three users, the three Meta channels and an AI agent with 800 monthly responses from the entry plan. It documents Mexican tax identifiers and downloadable CFDI files for billing its own service.
Tradeoff: $1,800 MXN per month plus VAT for Aurora CRM, and each additional user or channel costs $240 MXN per month plus VAT. It publishes neither an AI-response overage price nor whether Meta template fees are included. It is an inbox with a light CRM: no flow builder and no Instagram comment automations.
Source5. Whaticket
Best for: A small store that mainly needs several people answering the same WhatsApp without spending much: three included users, no published limit on contacts or chats, and the option to start with a QR connection instead of the official API.
Tradeoff: USD 49 per month on Plan BASIC with three users and one connection; Plan PRO is $109 USD per month and each additional connection is billed separately. AI features require tokens bought directly from OpenAI, with no published per-conversation allowance. Its entity is American and it publishes no Mexican CFDI commitment.

Eva is our product and comes first. The criteria are work solved, published price and billing unit, market availability, switching cost, and verifiable claims with a link and date. Eva comes first because it combines the full commercial conversation, an included CRM, every channel, AI included and public pricing, from $191 USD per month on an annual plan ($229 USD month to month). ManyChat follows for buyers who live on Instagram; Wati for Mexican WhatsApp pricing; Aurora Inbox for peso billing with documented CFDI; and Whaticket for the tightest budget. Chatfuel keeps real advantages: a mature flow builder, coexistence between the app and the API on the same number, a limits page that says when the assistant pauses, and the option to bring your own OpenAI key.
What switching actually involves
Start by deciding what happens to the flows. A menu tree does not export to another platform, and copying it as is rarely helps: half of its branches exist because the bot did not understand the question. Before moving, read the last month of real conversations and write down what customers actually ask. That list, not the diagram, is the input for the migration.
Next, secure the data and the number. Ask for an export of contacts, tags and history and test the file before cancelling. Since Chatfuel documents coexistence between the app and the API on the same number, confirm in writing what state your line is left in when you leave and who handles the migration inside Meta, so you are not stranded between two providers.
Then read the balance and the cycle. The annual plan is paid up front, and cancelling keeps access until the cycle ends, so the renewal date decides when you can move without paying for two platforms. If you are on the September promotion, ask for the renewal price before it arrives: it is not published.
The fourth step is pricing the arrival. With Eva, guided setup is prepared from your website and catalog for your approval at no cost; assisted setup costs $579 USD once and is delivered within five business days of receiving complete inputs. With ManyChat, Wati, Aurora and Whaticket, confirm in writing what configuration the plan includes and what is billed separately.
The last step is the test. Do not switch platforms on a demonstration: run a week with both active and measure the same thing on each, with real orders from your store. Questions about sizes, stock, shipping and invoicing are the exam; if the replacement answers them without calling anyone, the move justifies itself.
And on our side, so you know what is left for you: we handle the number's migration inside Meta ourselves, the same way we handle your company's verification. Your contacts come into Eva by CSV or Excel file, with deduplication on import; your catalog comes in by file or by API; and on top of that a contact is created and updated on its own the moment the person writes. Ask your current vendor for the export and we go through it with you during setup, before you cancel anything.
What are the best Chatfuel alternatives?
The best Chatfuel alternative depends on the missing job: Eva for completing the sale, ManyChat for Instagram automations, Wati for Mexican WhatsApp pricing, Aurora Inbox for peso billing with documented CFDI, and Whaticket for the tightest budget. First confirm which rate card applies to your account.
The table puts each published entry price beside the unit that actually moves the bill. It does not convert currencies or assume that similarly named plans include the same work. Chatfuel is the baseline; the other five rows are the alternatives assessed on this page.
| Option | Published entry price | Primary unit | Best when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chatfuel | $18 USD per month billed yearly | Plan with monthly AI credit | Your operation runs on flows and menus |
| Eva | $191 USD per month on an annual plan | Credits per agent reply | You need quoting, booking, payment and follow-up |
| ManyChat | $17 USD per month | Active contacts and channels | Your traffic arrives through Instagram |
| Wati | $1,049 MXN per month | 500 monthly active contacts | You want published Mexican peso pricing |
| Aurora Inbox | $1,800 MXN per month plus VAT | Plan, users, channels and responses | You prioritize peso billing with documented CFDI |
| Whaticket | USD 49 per month | Users and connections | You want the cheapest team inbox |
How much does Chatfuel cost per month?
The live page advertises Business at $18 USD monthly equivalent billed yearly, which is $216 USD for the year, and its public component returns USD 20 month to month. Agency S is $90 USD monthly equivalent billed yearly, $1,080 USD for the year, or $100 USD month to month. The Business promotion runs until September 30.
The next step up, Agency M, appears at $225 USD per month in the same public component. Its selector computes the annual figure by rounding ten point eight times the monthly price and dividing by twelve, which explains why the monthly equivalent does not always match a simple multiplication.
The help center still publishes another table, with Fuely Super 150 at $39 USD per month and $328 USD for the year, and Fuely Max 150 at USD 59 per month, metered by 150 active contacts. There is no public confirmation of how the two offers relate, so this page publishes them separately and does not add them together.
Does Chatfuel's AI have a limit?
Yes, but without a published figure. Business includes 20 dollars of monthly AI credit and Agency S includes 100. Its limits page says active contacts and messages are uncapped, while AI replies, classification and automations consume reasonable use depending on context.
When that use runs out, the assistant pauses until the cycle resets. The same page offers two exits: renew early, or ask support to use your own OpenAI key. Neither comes with a published marginal rate.
For a store with peak seasons, that is the question to ask before signing: how many replies fit inside the month's credit with your real configuration, and what happens on the busiest sales day of the year. Past the limits, the page refers you to sales rather than publishing a price.
Is Chatfuel good for selling in an online store?
It is good at organizing the conversation: it publishes lead qualification, campaigns, WhatsApp booking and integrations with Google Sheets, Zapier, Stripe and its API. What its public material does not prove is variant-level catalog sync, inventory, two-way orders or native in-chat payment with Mexican coverage.
Its Shopify guide describes sharing catalogs and answering on WhatsApp, which is useful and is not the same as stock checked at the moment of the question. For a store, the deciding question is whether a customer can ask about one specific size and get the right answer without anyone looking it up by hand.
The same applies to payment: appearing on an integration list does not prove the payment completes inside the conversation or that the method works in Mexico. Both are confirmed in writing before the catalog moves.
FAQ
What is the best Chatfuel alternative?
Eva fits when you need the same platform to quote from your catalog, book, take payment, invoice and follow up, with a CRM and every channel included, from $191 USD per month on an annual plan ($229 USD month to month). If Instagram automations matter most, compare ManyChat; if you want Mexican peso pricing, compare Wati or Aurora Inbox.
Does Chatfuel have a free plan?
Its current Spanish rate card publishes no permanent free plan: it starts at Business, advertised at $18 USD monthly equivalent billed yearly inside a promotion that ends on September 30. The help center documents another plan family, Fuely, also paid. Confirm at checkout which table applies before planning around a price.
Why does Chatfuel show two different prices?
Because it has two live tables that do not reconcile. The pricing page sells Business and Agency with monthly AI credit, and the help center still documents the Fuely plans metered by active contacts. Its own material explains neither the migration nor the equivalence, so the limits of one should not be carried over to the other.
Does Chatfuel bill in pesos or issue CFDI?
It does not publish that. Its Spanish page shows dollars and the help center denominates prices in United States dollars. We verified no Meta rate for Mexico, local currency, VAT or CFDI in the rate card we reviewed. If your accounting requires the document, ask for a written answer before paying the annual plan, which is billed up front.
When is Chatfuel still the right choice?
When the real job is a well-built flow and you want to keep controlling each step: the builder is mature, it documents coexistence between the app and the API on the same number, it publishes a limits page that says when the assistant pauses, and it allows bringing your own OpenAI key through support. If you need the conversation to quote, check stock and take payment, compare the whole flow.
