Aurora Inbox alternatives
What are the best alternatives to Aurora Inbox?
Aurora Inbox combines a shared inbox, CRM and an AI agent for WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger. This comparison covers five alternatives when you need published overages, more channels, another CRM, or a conversation that quotes, takes payment, invoices and follows up.
Eva is one of the five options and it is our product. We compare published prices, billing units, selling over messaging and buying from Mexico. We verified each vendor's public pages on 28 July 2026.
5 real options
Why people look for an alternative to Aurora Inbox
The first reason is the AI-response ceiling. Aurora publishes 800 monthly responses on Aurora CRM, 10,000 on Aurora IA and 20,000 on Aurora IA Plus, but publishes no overage price, no rollover rule and no description of what the system does at the limit: whether it warns, stops, or keeps billing. Eight hundred responses go quickly in an operation with real traffic, and that is precisely the moment you need the number.
The second is an old rule that is still published. Its terms, dated July 2023, allow up to 20,000 exchanged messages per contracted user per calendar month and charge $1,000 MXN for each block of 60,000 additional messages. That rule is not reconciled anywhere with the current AI-response allowances, so two different meters — exchanged messages and AI responses — coexist today with no public explanation of how they interact.
The third is growth. All three plans include exactly three users and three channels, and the billing documentation refers to a three-user minimum. Each additional user and each additional channel costs $240 MXN per month plus VAT. For a team of three that is fine; for a team of ten it stops being a footnote and belongs in the comparison before you look at monthly prices.
The fourth is the contradictions between its own pages. The pricing page publishes Aurora IA Plus at $4,000 MXN per month plus VAT, while a February 2026 Aurora article still publishes a higher figure, and the dollar price for an additional user does not match between those two pages either. Its reporting documentation also gates conversation-level drill-down behind an Enterprise plan that does not appear on the public rate card, and the trial terms — length, price, eligibility — change depending on which page you read.
The fifth is how the money works. The terms say service is paid in advance and payments are non-refundable, even though you can cancel at any time. They also do not say whether Meta's template fee is included, passed through at cost or marked up. Neither is unusual in this market, but both belong in writing before you sign.
Criteria
- It publishes a price. An alternative that only quotes on a call cannot be compared, so all five publish at least one list price.
- It publishes its billing unit and what happens when the allowance runs out. This is the criterion that orders this list, because it is the most common reason to leave Aurora.
- It does the same job — selling and answering over messaging, not a tool from an adjacent category.
- It can be bought from Mexico today, even when it bills in dollars; where no Mexican entity or local invoicing is published, this page says so.
- Every claim here links to the vendor's public page and carries its verification date.
Eva is our product and it appears on this list, so the list is not neutral by nature; that is why every row links the public page it came from and why the paragraph above routes by job and says where the arithmetic goes against us. The Aurora Inbox, Leadsales, Kommo, Kosmo and Whaticket prices were verified on 28 July 2026 and are printed in the currency each vendor publishes, without conversion.
Five real alternatives
1. Eva
Best for: Anyone who needs an integrated platform. Eva does the work, not just the talking: she quotes from your real catalog, books, takes payment, invoices and follows up for months inside the same conversation. A CRM where everything organizes itself: every prospect is captured, classified and managed automatically, with handoff to a person with the full history. Every channel included: WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, calls, email and your website, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok comments. AI is already in the price: no separate accounts and no extra AI charges; each agent reply uses one plan credit, and that is it. Public pricing: plans, add-ons and setup published, with a verification date on every figure on this page. From $191 USD per month on an annual plan ($229 USD month to month).
Tradeoff: Although it starts from $191 USD per month on an annual plan ($229 USD month to month), it costs more than inexpensive inboxes such as Aurora CRM, and setup is purchased separately from $579 USD (half price with an annual plan). A 1,000-credit top-up costs $49 USD and each extra user is $17 USD per month. There is no public self-serve signup today, no free trial, and Eva Pay settles by SPEI bank transfer rather than card.
Source2. Leadsales
Best for: Anyone who wants to stay in the same price range, with a Mexican corporation, peso billing for customers in Mexico and Mexican tax invoicing, but needs more pipelines and column-organized chat operations more than an AI agent.
Tradeoff: $97 USD per month on Plan Básico, charged as $2,362.92 MXN to customers in Mexico, with three users and five pipelines; each additional user is $13 USD per month. Its AI agent starts on the Profesional plan and its price after the first thirty days is not public. Its pricing FAQ says each account connects a single WhatsApp number.
Source3. Kommo
Best for: Anyone who needs a mature sales CRM — pipelines, tasks, contact records and analytics — with several WhatsApp numbers, and wants the vendor to publish what additional AI credits cost rather than leaving it open.
Tradeoff: $15 USD per paid user per month on Básico, with no monthly option: the published minimum is six months prepaid, meaning $90 USD per seat before you start. The autonomous AI agent begins on Avanzado at $25 USD per paid user per month, and the smallest AI credit package costs $29 USD per month. Billing is in dollars only, with no published Mexican entity or CFDI commitment.
Source4. Kosmo
Best for: Anyone who does not want to configure anything again. All three plans include Kosmo analyzing the business, configuring the bot, connecting the channels and training the team, with a published 72-hour turnaround and published support response times per plan.
Tradeoff: $4,497 MXN per month on Starter, with one channel of your choice and one user, and $12,497 MXN on Professional Growth — considerably more than Aurora. It bills conversations per month without publishing what starts or ends a conversation, and its own site states that its entry point is high and that there is no free plan.
Source5. Whaticket
Best for: A support team that needs the lowest dollar entry point, no published cap on contacts or chats, and the option to start with WhatsApp over a QR link instead of activating the official API on day one.
Tradeoff: USD 49 per month on Plan BASIC, with three users and one WhatsApp connection; each additional connection is USD 20 per month. AI is not included here: OpenAI tokens are bought directly from OpenAI with no published allowance or per-conversation consumption, so the ceiling that bothered you at Aurora becomes a variable bill instead. Its legal entity is American and it publishes no peso price or CFDI commitment.
Source
Eva is our product and it goes first. These are the criteria: published price and billing unit, what happens when allowance runs out, the ability to sell and answer over messaging, buying from Mexico, and sources with verification dates. Eva goes first because it brings those five pillars into one platform: work inside the conversation, an included CRM, every channel, included AI and public pricing. Leadsales follows for column-organized chat operations with peso billing; Kommo for a sales CRM billed per seat and published AI credits; Kosmo when you want the vendor to do the setup; and Whaticket for an inexpensive dollar entry point and QR-linked WhatsApp. The arithmetic that does not favor us still holds: Aurora CRM retains the lowest peso list price, while Eva requires separate setup.
What switching actually involves
The first thing to move is the WhatsApp number, and no vendor controls that part. Aurora documents two ways of connecting it: Meta's official Cloud API, or a QR-linked WhatsApp Web session. If you are on the official API, changing platforms means migrating the WhatsApp Business account between providers inside Meta, with verification in the middle; plan for days rather than minutes. If you are on the QR session, the number still lives on the phone and the move is simpler — but that is also the right moment to ask whether you want to keep it that way.
The second is your data, and this deserves directness: on the Aurora public pages reviewed on 28 July 2026 we found no documented procedure for exporting your conversations and contacts. Ask for the export clause in the document you are about to sign — or the one you already signed — and ask for a test export before you cancel anything. Its contact profile concentrates history, properties, opportunities, events and scheduled messages; all of that is yours and belongs outside the platform before you leave.
The third is the configuration, and it is the real work. The AI agents you built in Aurora carry instructions, a knowledge base and tools enabled one by one; none of that copies across to the next vendor. With Eva, guided setup is prepared from your website and catalog and you approve it at no cost, while assisted setup costs $579 USD once with delivery within five business days of receiving complete inputs. Kosmo builds it for you on all three plans with a published 72-hour turnaround. With Leadsales, Kommo and Whaticket the configuration is yours to build beyond whatever the plan includes.
The fourth is overlap. Nobody switches off a sales channel to test another one: budget a month paying both, with the new vendor covering a secondary channel or a time window, and move when you have seen real conversations resolved. That double month is the true cost of switching and almost never shows up in a monthly-price comparison.
The fifth is the exit. Aurora's terms say service is paid in advance and payments are non-refundable, even though cancellation is open at any time — so cancel at the end of a paid period rather than halfway through one. On the arrival side, Kommo publishes a six-month prepaid minimum, so there the exit is planned before the entry. Ask for both clauses in writing.
And on our side, so you know what is left for you: we handle the number's migration inside Meta ourselves, the same way we handle your company's verification. On contacts we would rather understate it — your catalog does come in by file or by API, and a contact is created and updated on its own the moment the person writes — but we publish no contact-list import today, so we are not going to promise you one. Ask your current vendor for the export and we go through it with you during setup, before you cancel anything.
FAQ
Is anything cheaper than Aurora Inbox in pesos?
Not among these five. Aurora CRM costs $1,800 MXN per month plus VAT with three users, three channels, one AI agent and 800 AI responses, and that is the lowest peso list price here. Whaticket publishes USD 49 per month, which at many exchange rates lands lower, but it bills in dollars, its AI runs on separately purchased OpenAI tokens and no Mexican invoicing is published. If price is your only reason, the honest answer may be to stay.
What happens when the month's AI responses run out?
With Aurora it is not published: no overage price, no rollover rule, no description of what happens at the ceiling. With Eva a 1,000-credit top-up has a public price and purchased credits do not expire. Kommo publishes monthly AI credit packages with prices, though package credits reset every 30 days and unused ones are lost. For Leadsales, Kosmo and Whaticket we found no published AI overage price.
What does going past three users cost?
With Aurora, $240 MXN per month plus VAT for each additional user, and the same for each additional channel. With Leadsales, $13 USD per month per extra user beyond the three in Plan Básico. With Kommo you pay per seat from $15 USD per month, with a six-month prepaid minimum. With Whaticket the custom plan reprices the whole user block. With Eva an extra user costs $17 USD per month on top of the 5 included in Essential.
Which one issues Mexican CFDI invoices for my customers?
Eva issues and stores CFDI invoices through Facturapi when the tax profile is complete. Aurora Inbox documents Mexican tax identifiers and CFDI downloads for its own billing, as does Leadsales, whose terms also identify a Mexican corporation — but invoicing their own service is a different thing from issuing on your customers' behalf. Kommo and Whaticket publish neither a Mexican entity nor a CFDI commitment.
In what order should I read the five options?
Start with Eva if you need one platform that does the work inside the conversation and includes CRM, every channel, AI and public pricing. Then compare the specific fit: Aurora retains the lowest peso list price; Kommo publishes a per-seat sales CRM; Leadsales organizes chats in columns; Kosmo delivers the setup done; and Whaticket offers an inexpensive dollar entry point. No position means one option is best for everyone.
