ManyChat pricing in 2026

ManyChat publishes one free tier and four paid plans. Essential is $17 USD monthly, Pro $39 USD, Business $99 USD, and Advanced $199 USD. Annual billing lowers the monthly equivalent but is charged upfront, while the final checkout price depends on the billing country.

The base fee is only one part of the plan. Each tier carries an Active Contacts allowance, users, Inbox seats, and channels. WhatsApp begins on Pro; Free and Essential exclude it. Business and Advanced add more team capacity and connections.

Manychat says availability varies by region and account creation date. If your account predates March 2, 2026, check the billing screen before using this table: the legacy model follows stored contacts and does not reset monthly.

ManyChat counts each recognised person who interacts during the monthly billing cycle once, even if that person returns several times. The counter resets every cycle, including on annual subscriptions. Above the allowance, you can pay for more contacts or set a threshold that limits new automations.

The meter follows monthly activity rather than the full database. A recognised person who returns throughout one cycle counts once. In the next cycle, that person can count again after another interaction.

Overages are billed monthly even on an annual subscription. You can switch them off or set a paid threshold; once that threshold is reached, automations continue only for contacts already active in the cycle. Advanced publishes a starting rate and says larger volumes may cost less without listing every breakpoint.

The headline price does not always include WhatsApp, tax, delivered template messages, or extra Inbox seats. Free and Essential exclude WhatsApp. Public prices exclude tax, Meta usage remains separate, and an additional Inbox seat on eligible paid plans is published at $25 USD per month.

For a WhatsApp operation, Pro is the practical entry point. Delivered template messages outside qualifying free windows also draw from the WhatsApp wallet according to destination and category. Annual billing does not remove that usage charge.

Manychat lists subscriptions in dollars and calculates tax from the billing country. We found no direct MXN rate card, Mexico checkout total including tax, or public Mexican tax-invoice commitment. Confirm those points before approving a budget.

Team capacity needs its own check. Pro includes two Inbox seats and can grow to three; Business includes three and Advanced five. A published extra seat on current paid plans is $25 USD monthly. Plan users and Inbox seats are not the same unit.

ManyChat makes sense when Instagram, TikTok, or Messenger starts the conversation and you want social automation with a shared inbox. Pro fits when WhatsApp joins an operation spanning up to three channels. Spanish self-serve documentation and a visible monthly Active Contacts meter are practical strengths.

For a creator or small business beginning on social channels, Free and Essential let you test automation without paying for WhatsApp. Once commercial conversations move to WhatsApp, compare Pro against actual activity rather than Essential's lower price.

Business and Advanced suit teams that need more seats, assignments, and broader connection capacity. If comment, Story, or ad triggers are central to how conversations begin, Manychat's social specialisation is a concrete advantage.

Do not choose it from the entry price alone when the account is old or activity will grow quickly. Confirm the account's billing model first, then model a busy month with its overage rate.
