Leadsales vs Kommo
Leadsales vs Kommo: which one is better for selling on WhatsApp?
Kommo if your team fits in a few seats, you can prepay six months and you want a configurable CRM with several WhatsApp numbers; Leadsales if you would rather pay month to month with no lock-in, with a Mexican company behind it and a simple stage-based board. The difference that decides almost everything is not the subscription: it is where the artificial-intelligence agent gets billed.
Let us start with what almost nobody declares: Eva is our product. This page does not exist to tell you to buy Eva; it exists because the Leadsales-versus-Kommo comparison is done badly everywhere, with old screenshots and prices that already changed. Here the two are compared with what they publish today, with a link and a date, and only at the end do we say where Eva fits and where it does not.
If the result of reading this is that you sign with Leadsales or Kommo with your eyes open, the page did its job. Both changed important things in 2026: the Leadsales entry plan stopped connecting WhatsApp and its artificial-intelligence agent became a separate product, and Kommo moved its artificial-intelligence layer onto credits that expire every month. Neither change appears on the front page.
| What to compare | Leadsales | Kommo | Eva |
|---|---|---|---|

The verdict, by type of buyer
If you are a one-to-three-person business that wants its conversations sorted by stage and does not want to sign anything, Leadsales. It bills month to month, states plainly that there are no forced contracts, has a Mexican company behind it, and its board is understood in twenty minutes. The cost of that simplicity is that the entry plan, at $97 USD per month, no longer connects WhatsApp: for that you move up to Profesional at $133 USD.
If your team is going to grow, you need several WhatsApp numbers and you want a CRM that genuinely configures — custom fields, automations, reports — then Kommo. It is the larger product of the two and its entry price, $15 USD per user per month, is the lowest in this comparison. The cost of that is that it sells no monthly option: the published minimum purchase is six months prepaid, meaning $90 USD per seat on Básico and $150 USD on Avanzado before the first conversation.
If your problem is that conversations get answered late or badly, neither of them solves it on its own: both sell the place where conversations are organized, and the agent that answers is bought or metered separately. That is the part of the budget most often calculated backwards, and it is taken apart below.
And if you are comparing because somebody quoted you a price from memory, check the dates: third-party pages summarizing these two platforms still cite figures that no longer exist, like the Leadsales peso rate or the cost of its extra user. Both disappeared from its pricing page.
Real price and real currency
Leadsales charges per plan, with users included inside it. Básico costs $97 USD per month with three users, five pipelines, five thousand conversations and fifteen gigabytes, and since 2026 it connects Messenger and web chat, but not WhatsApp. Profesional costs $133 USD per month with four users, ten pipelines, twenty thousand conversations, thirty gigabytes and the official WhatsApp API. Avanzado costs $247 USD per month with five users, unlimited pipelines, fifty thousand conversations and one hundred gigabytes. Longer terms are discounted: ten percent at three months, fifteen at six, twenty for a year.
Kommo charges per paid user per month: fifteen dollars on Básico, twenty-five on Avanzado, forty-five on Pro. That number is the most misleading in the comparison, not because it is false but because it cannot be paid monthly: the published minimum purchase is six months. A four-person team on Avanzado pays one hundred dollars a month and signs for six hundred dollars up front; on Pro, one hundred and eighty a month and one thousand and eighty up front. All users on an account share the same plan, so tiers cannot be mixed seat by seat.
The cost boundary depends on team size and it is crossed sooner than it looks. With two or three people, Kommo comes out cheaper even after prepaying half a year. With five or six, the closed Leadsales plan starts to win. With ten, the arithmetic goes back to being per seat, and the artificial-intelligence credits multiply per person too.
On currency, both bill in dollars. Kommo says an official partner may resell in local currency, but publishes no such price for Mexico. Leadsales used to publish a peso rate and the cost of its extra user; today it publishes neither: the page says the extra user carries an additional cost that varies by plan, with no figure. If you budget in pesos and deduct with Mexican tax invoices, that is a line to ask about in writing before signing.
The AI agent in each one, and what it really costs
This is where two platforms with similar subscriptions end up costing twice as much as each other, and it is the section no third-party comparison gets right.
Leadsales sells its agent separately, under the name Lead Agent: $87 USD per month on the Starter tier, $297 USD on Growth and $793 USD on Scale, with the first month at no cost. Its page does not break down what changes between tiers, so we do not invent it: ask in writing, and ask for the exact criterion that pushes you up a tier. The arithmetic that matters is the sum: the Profesional plan with WhatsApp plus the entry tier of Lead Agent is two hundred and twenty dollars a month, not one hundred and thirty-three.
Kommo does the opposite: it includes credits per seat — seven hundred and fifty on Básico, one thousand two hundred and fifty on Avanzado, two thousand two hundred and fifty on Pro — and publishes that one agent reply consumes on the order of fifteen credits. With that arithmetic, the Básico allowance covers roughly fifty replies per user per month, which is thin if the agent is genuinely answering. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Extra packages cost $29 USD per month for five thousand credits and $99 USD for fifty thousand, with at least three months prepaid on a first purchase; the Escala tier no longer carries a list price and is quoted instead, at $10 USD per five-thousand-credit block per month.
Kommo also publishes how many agents an account may run: up to three on Avanzado and up to fifty on Pro, with assisted booking and voice notes at the top tier. Leadsales does not publish that figure. If your operation needs a different agent per branch or per brand, that line decides the comparison more than price does.
The honest arithmetic works like this: take one real month of conversations, count how many replies the agent gives in each one, and multiply. On Kommo that converts into credits at fifteen per reply; on Leadsales, into a Lead Agent tier. If the result exceeds the allowance, the true price is the subscription plus the top-ups, and that is the figure to compare.
WhatsApp: architecture and per-plan limits
The most important change of 2026 is that the Leadsales entry plan no longer connects WhatsApp. Básico handles Messenger and web chat; the first plan with the official WhatsApp API is Profesional, at $133 USD per month. If you are comparing against last year's screenshot, that is the line that moved and the one that breaks the most budgets.
Leadsales includes credit-based campaigns on the plans with WhatsApp, and gives two hundred and fifty credits in the first month on Profesional and five hundred on Avanzado. Those are campaign credits, not agent credits: two different meters, worth not confusing when budgeting.
Kommo connects one WhatsApp number and one Instagram account on Básico, three and three on Avanzado — where broadcasting and bots also appear — and WhatsApp numbers with no published limit on Pro. For a business with several branches or several brands, that ladder is the real reason to pick Kommo, more than the per-seat price.
Both use Meta's official API when they connect WhatsApp, so Meta's per-delivered-template fees are on you in both cases and are included in neither subscription. Ask both the same question in writing: whether they resell those fees with a margin or pass them through at cost.
So where does Eva fit?
Eva is our product and it enters this page as a third option, held to the same standard: a public, checkable price. It starts at $191 USD per month on an annual plan ($229 USD month to month) on the Esencial plan, with 5 users and 5,000 credits included, and artificial intelligence already inside the price. An extra user costs $17 USD per month, an extra agent $59 USD, and a 1,000-credit top-up $49 USD.
Where Eva beats both is in what the agent actually does. Leadsales and Kommo sell the place where conversations are organized, plus an artificial-intelligence layer that suggests, summarizes or answers the general stuff. Eva quotes from your real catalog with stock and terms, books against true availability, takes payment inside the conversation, invoices in your customer's name and follows up for months, and all of it lands in the built-in CRM without anybody typing it in.
It also beats them on how you buy it. There is no six-month minimum and no artificial-intelligence product quoted separately: each agent reply uses one plan credit, and that is it. And it handles WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, calls, email and your website, including Instagram comments and TikTok ad comments, without charging channel by channel.
Now the honest part, which is what makes this page useful. If your budget does not reach Eva's subscription and all you need is a shared inbox with stages for three people, Leadsales costs less and solves that. If what you want is a configurable CRM with campaign analytics, booking management inside the board and dozens of seats, that ground belongs to Kommo and we will not pretend otherwise. And if you need to sign up alone, with a card and without talking to anybody, Kommo has a fourteen-day trial today and Eva has neither self-serve signup nor a free trial: guided setup is prepared from your site and your catalog, you approve it at no cost, and assisted setup is bought separately from $579 USD.
How to decide in one afternoon
First, count the people who will use the tool, including the ones who only watch. Multiply that number by Kommo's per-seat price and by six months; compare it against the closed Leadsales plan that covers the same team. That single calculation eliminates one of the two in half the cases.
Second, open fifty real conversations from last week and count how many are settled with a fixed answer and how many need a catalog lookup, a quote with terms or a calendar check. If nearly all are fixed, buy the cheaper option and do not pay for capacity you will not use. If half need searching, quoting or booking, you now know you are buying an agent, and the agent is priced separately on both.
Third, convert those conversations into each vendor's meter: credits at fifteen per reply on Kommo, a Lead Agent tier on Leadsales. Add the result to the subscription before comparing anything.
Fourth, send both the same email with four questions: what exactly happens when the credits run out, what minimum term am I signing, who invoices me and through which entity, and how many WhatsApp numbers does the quoted plan include. Written answers are worth more than any comparison page, this one included.
Fifth, test both against your own operation rather than the vendor demo: fourteen days on Kommo and the free first month of Lead Agent on Leadsales are enough to learn whether your team will really use it.
Methodology
- Leadsales was verified on 14 August 2026 on its public pricing page, after a plan change that left the entry plan without WhatsApp and split its artificial-intelligence agent into a product of its own.
- Kommo was verified on 14 August 2026 across its pricing page, its artificial-intelligence pricing post and its credit-package documentation, with no changes from the 28 July 2026 review.
- Every figure is quoted in the currency its vendor publishes, with no conversion. Seat and term multiplications are spelled out in words so that published figures stay distinguishable from calculated ones.
- Meta's per-template fees are not published here: they change by country and category and they are on you with both platforms.
- Eva's figures come from our public rate card and are marked as ours wherever they appear.
