Eva is our product. Each price is one its vendor publishes, in its own currency and unconverted, with its billing unit; what costs extra is in each option's detail.

The alternatives to Escala come down to two lines on the invoice: whether AI is inside the plan or bought as separate credit packages, and whether the contract is annual or something you can leave at any time. With Escala, AI is a CRM add-on metered in credits, and the entry plan is paid yearly.

Escala is a Latin American CRM and marketing-automation platform, in Spanish, with sales-stage boards, email, forms and a conversation center that includes one WhatsApp line and one Facebook and Instagram pair. Its AI agent quotes CRM products in plain text, assigns the conversation to a person or a team, interprets voice notes and books appointments inside the CRM itself.

Eva is our product and it comes first on this list, so we state the criteria, the order and the source of every figure. EvaAI works with businesses in any country: Eva is configured and answers in Spanish or English, and we do not limit sales to Mexico.

Why people look for an alternative to Escala

The contract before the price. Starter is $30 USD per month equivalent and its pricing page now says it is paid yearly only; Pro is $97 USD per month on an annual contract, or $77.60 USD per month equivalent when the year is paid in one go. Its support article adds that Pro also requires a one-time personalized implementation service, listed there at USD 450. Verified on 16 September 2026.

AI is bought separately and metered in credits. One outgoing agent message consumes 25 credits. The Bronce package costs $40 USD per month for 40,000 credits, which at that published rate is 1,600 outgoing messages, and the scale runs up to Esmeralda at $1,800 USD per month for 2,500,000 credits. One-off top-ups start at $90 USD for 80,000 credits and do not expire while the contract stays active. It is an honest, published meter, but it is a second invoice on top of the CRM.

The marketing-contact allowance. Starter and Pro begin with 1,000 marketing contacts, and Escala's documentation says exceeding that automatically bills the next contact block. The amount of that block is not published, so a buyer cannot work out the ceiling of the invoice before signing.

Seats are billed separately. Its support article lists USD 20 per user on Starter and USD 25 per user on Pro, and the number of seats included in the base was not confirmed between the pricing page and support. When the team grows, the invoice grows.

Channels and currency. The conversation center includes one WhatsApp line and one Facebook and Instagram pair, and additional lines are selectable in its calculator with no published price or maximum. A native TikTok inbox, a standalone live web chat, telephone calling and native in-conversation payment collection were not established. Its own AI pricing page states that all prices are in dollars: we could not verify peso pricing or Mexican CFDI invoices.

Criteria

  • It publishes price, contract term and what happens when you exceed the included allowance.
  • It states whether AI is inside the plan or bought separately, and the unit it is metered in.
  • It does the same commercial job: answering, quoting, booking and following up, not only automating email.
  • It includes a CRM with sales stages, where every prospect is filed without manual work.
  • Every claim links to the vendor's public page and carries its verification date. Criteria set on 16 September 2026.

Eva is our product and appears on this list, so the list is not neutral by nature; that is why every row links the public page it came from. The Escala figures were verified on 16 September 2026 on escala.com and its support portal; the respond.io figures on 24 September 2026; the Leadsales plan figures on 28 September 2026; the Aurora Inbox figures between 28 and 29 September 2026; the Lead Agent price on 1 October 2026; and the Kommo figures on 24 September 2026. Every figure is printed in the currency its vendor publishes, without conversion. Escala's per-user prices and its implementation service appear exactly as its support article lists them, and its support documentation and pricing page disagree on whether Starter can be paid monthly: this page uses the current pricing page, which states annual payment.

Five real alternatives

  1. 1. Eva

Best for: Anyone who wants an AI agent to quote from their real catalog, book and follow up.

    Setup included.

Price: Eva from $191 USD a month, billed yearly, AI credits included.

  2. 2. Kommo

Best for: Anyone who wants the sales CRM as the main product, with a visual sales-stage board, tasks, contact records and campaign analytics, and messaging inside it. Avanzado includes three WhatsApp numbers and Pro publishes unlimited numbers, with an official Spanish interface and public customer cases across Latin America.

Tradeoff: $20 USD per paid user per month on Básico, with no monthly option: the published minimum is six months prepaid. The autonomous agent is not available to new Básico customers; it starts on Avanzado at $30 USD per paid user per month. AI credits are bought in separate packages from $29 USD per month, so it repeats the pattern that made you leave Escala. It bills in dollars and the price multiplies by every person who needs access.

  3. 3. Aurora Inbox

Best for: Anyone leaving Escala because they need a Mexican invoice and a peso figure. Aurora publishes a monthly peso price with three users included on every plan, an AI agent with 800 monthly responses from the entry plan, the three Meta channels, and documented Mexican tax identifiers with downloadable CFDI files.

Tradeoff: $1,800 MXN per month plus VAT for Aurora CRM and $240 MXN per month plus VAT for each additional user or channel. It publishes no AI-response overage price, so that line has to be asked about in writing. And it has no equivalent of Escala's marketing side: it is an inbox with a CRM and an agent, not an email-automation platform with marketing contacts sold in blocks.

  4. 4. respond.io

Best for: A large operation that needs chats, calls and email in one workspace, with workflows, advanced reporting, an API, single sign-on and multiple workspaces. Starter includes five users and unlimited monthly active contacts.

Tradeoff: From $79 USD per month billed yearly on Starter, but the autonomous agent starts on Growth at $159 USD per month, and Advanced costs $279 USD per month. Growth and Advanced start with 1,000 monthly active contacts. AI credits sit under a fair-use limit and, once exhausted, those features pause until the next month, with no published overage price. Meta's WhatsApp fees sit outside. It bills in dollars and publishes no Mexican entity or local invoicing.

  5. 5. Leadsales

Best for: Anyone who wants WhatsApp organized into sales stages with a peso price for customers in Mexico and a Mexican corporation behind the contract. Its Plan Profesional connects the official WhatsApp API and includes four users, ten sales boards, 20,000 active conversations and 250 monthly WhatsApp credits.

Tradeoff: $97 USD per month on Plan Básico, which is $2,362.92 MXN for customers in Mexico, and there the connection is WhatsApp Messenger, Facebook and Instagram, with no bulk sending and no campaign credits. The plan with the official API is Profesional at $133 USD per month, or $3,239.88 MXN in Mexico. Its AI agent, Lead Agent, is billed separately from $87 USD per month: AI outside the plan once again.

Eva in detail: Eva hands the conversation to a person on your team with the full history, and also handles Instagram comments and TikTok ad comments. Essential costs $229 USD month to month, with 5,000 credits and 5 users included; a 1,000-credit top-up costs $49 USD and each extra user is $17 USD per month. Setup is included: we configure everything Eva does today, at no extra cost. Payment inside the conversation runs on SPEI. There is no public self-serve signup and no free trial today. And if what you are buying is a marketing platform with contacts sold in blocks and messaging as an add-on, that purchase is Escala's, not ours.

Eva is our product and comes first, so here are the criteria: published price, term and overage; AI inside or outside the plan, with its unit of measure; the same commercial job of answering, quoting, booking and following up; an included CRM with sales stages; and every figure with a source and a date. Eva comes first because it combines an agent that executes, an included CRM, every channel and AI inside the price, with no second credit invoice. Kommo follows for buyers who want the per-seat sales CRM; Aurora Inbox for those who need pesos and Mexican invoicing; respond.io for large operations that need calls, email and enterprise controls; and Leadsales for WhatsApp sales stages with a peso price. Escala keeps a real advantage: it is a Spanish-language marketing and CRM platform with email, forms, sales stages and an agent that quotes CRM products and books appointments inside the same system, and it publishes its credit meter in full detail. If your purchase is the marketing rather than the selling conversation, stay where you are.

What switching actually involves

The first step is the contract. Starter is paid yearly and Pro runs on an annual contract, so check the renewal date before moving anything: switching vendors halfway through a paid year is a budget decision, not only a product one. Ask in writing for the cancellation notice and for what happens to AI credits you did not consume.

The second is the WhatsApp number. Escala connects accounts through Meta's infrastructure, so your number already lives inside Meta: changing vendors means migrating the WhatsApp Business account between platforms, with verification in the middle. Plan for days rather than minutes, and ask for the release procedure before signing with the next vendor.

The third is your data, and here there are two separate lists: marketing contacts and the sales opportunities in its stages. Ask for both exports, with their custom fields, before cancelling anything, and check them in full.

The fourth is the configuration. The agent's instructions, its knowledge base and the automation flows that trigger it do not copy across to the next vendor: they get rebuilt. Setup is included: we configure everything Eva does today, at no extra cost. Eva goes live in up to 5 business days once access and catalog are ready.

The fifth is the overlap. Budget one month paying both vendors: nobody switches off a sales channel to test another one. Run the replacement on a secondary channel or a bounded time window, compare real resolved conversations, and move when the number convinces you.

And on our side, so you know what is left for you: we handle the number's migration inside Meta ourselves, the same way we handle your company's verification. Your contacts come into Eva by CSV or Excel file, with deduplication on import; your catalog comes in by file or by API; and on top of that a contact is created and updated on its own the moment the person writes. Ask your current vendor for the export and we go through it with you during setup, before you cancel anything.

FAQ

What does Escala cost?

Starter is $30 USD per month equivalent and its current pricing page says it is paid yearly. Pro is $97 USD per month on an annual contract, or $77.60 USD per month equivalent when the year is paid in one go, and its support article adds a one-time personalized implementation service listed at USD 450. Enterprise is quote-only. Verified on 16 September 2026.

Is Escala's AI included in the plan?

No. Escala sells it as a CRM add-on metered in credits: one outgoing agent message consumes 25 credits. Monthly packages run from Bronce, $40 USD for 40,000 credits, to Esmeralda, $1,800 USD for 2,500,000 credits, and one-off top-ups start at $90 USD for 80,000 credits and do not expire while the contract stays active. With Eva, AI is already in the plan price and every reply uses one plan credit.

Which of these alternatives bills in Mexican pesos and issues CFDI invoices?

Aurora Inbox publishes its price in pesos plus VAT and documents Mexican tax identifiers and CFDI downloads. Leadsales publishes a peso price for customers located in Mexico. Eva publishes pesos plus VAT inside Mexico and also issues CFDI invoices on your customers' behalf through Facturapi when the tax profile is complete. Escala, Kommo and respond.io publish in dollars, and we could verify no Mexican entity or CFDI commitment for any of the three.

How many WhatsApp and social accounts can I connect?

Escala's conversation center includes one WhatsApp line and one Facebook and Instagram pair, and its calculator accepts additional lines and pairs without publishing a price or a maximum. Kommo Avanzado includes three WhatsApp numbers and Pro publishes unlimited numbers. Leadsales connects one WhatsApp account per workspace. With Eva, how many accounts your agent connects is agreed during setup and we publish no cap.

What happens if I exceed the contact or credit allowance?

Escala automatically bills the next marketing-contact block, and the amount of that block is not published, so it is worth asking for it in writing. Its AI credits are replenished by buying another package or a top-up. On respond.io, AI features pause until the next month once the fair-use limit is exhausted. With Eva you buy a 1,000-credit top-up and purchased credits never expire.

Does EvaAI only sell in Mexico?

No. EvaAI works with businesses in any country and Eva is configured and answers in Spanish or English. Peso pricing and CFDI invoicing are the Mexican part of the offer; outside Mexico the contract is in dollars, and this site exists in both languages.
